Farm store CLOSED UNTIL SPRING

We want to say thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy our farm in 2021 as we come upon this holiday season.
We have had thousands of messages, calls, and emails asking about Christmas at The Farm.......

We hear you loud and clear and appreciate all of your support. We are so blessed that so many of you want to bring the entire family to spend each holiday and each season with us here at the farm.

Now the bad news: Christmas at the Farm will not be open for the 2021 Christmas season. Just like many of you, we have struggled all year with staffing issues and continue to do so. Just like the 2020 Christmas season in which we decided not to open because of the devastating financial effect that a potential Local Government shutdown would have on the future of our small family business, we cannot open yet again, due to circumstances beyond our control. 2021 has brought more new challenges, including an unbelievable labor shortage that has affected even our small family farm.

The good news is that we will have more time during the offseason to complete some remodeling and expansion projects, as well as complete the major focal points, and new attractions for Christmas at the Farm 2022! These projects are years in the making. We are proud of the fact that we custom build everything, so our displays and attractions are truly one-of-a-kind. There are some other exciting new additions coming soon to the farm, but we'll let those remain surprises for now.

Please bear with us and remember that we are just a small family farm that is completely privately owned and privately funded by us. We receive zero tax dollars and zero tax breaks to put on our Christmas at the Farm event for the Big Country to enjoy. We also do not accept volunteers, so all of the labor and work hours our staff puts into the farm are paid for by us. We take pride in supporting these families and individuals and we know that this is a great positive impact we are able to have right here in The Big Country.

We know of non-profit and private/non-profit partnership Christmas events that plan to continue to open as normal, but they have no risk involved as they are funded with our tax dollars, use volunteer workers, receive free or discounted publicity and advertising, and take advantage of tax free benefits, while many of the folks involved personally profit.

You don’t have to wait an entire year to come see us again, though, as we will still be opening up in the Spring as normal with pick-your-own strawberries and Easter weekend festivities. Farm fresh air, good produce, and incredible homemade ice cream are some things to look forward to in the Spring of 2022.

God bless your families and we hope y'all stay safe this holiday season....... we cannot wait for 2022 to get here!

Merry Christmas Y'all from our family here at Denton Valley Farms!

CHRISTMAS AT THE FARM!
