Our Produce:

If it can be grown here, we've tried it. Our West Texas produce season is late March through July.

For us, the new crop year literally begins the day after we close the store for the season. Harvested fields are immediately plowed and soil preparation for next season's crops begins. Throughout the year, we make several tons of homemade compost, much of which is applied to the fields during the winter months. Field and greenhouse planting begins right around Christmas. Thousands of grapevines and fruit trees are hand-pruned January through March. Our Farm Store doors officially open for the season as soon as the first Spring Strawberries are ready to harvest, usually late March. We grow over 100 different varieties of fruits and vegetables, many of which cannot be found anywhere else locally. All of our produce is local and fresh, straight from our farm. Most of our produce is picked and sold the same day, so our customers truly know the meaning of "fresh produce". We also offer a variety of pick-your-own options throughout the season, including our easy to pick thornless blackberries.
